INTRODUCTION:

On Tuesday, May 24th, 2005 we were staying at the Sheraton Resort, and I had to return a rental car to the airport. I decided to walk back from the airport to the Sheraton. It took about two hours (with lots of stops for pictures) and I tried to take pictures of everything I could along the way.

The next day I continued the walk all the way to old town and back, photographing most of the way until my second set of batteries went dead.

On yet another day I ventured up the road to the Tunnel, again photographing along the way.

So all the pictures are here. Where there are captions they apply to the photo above the caption. For the most part, where there is a picture of a street sign, the following photo is looking up the street that was named in the previous photo.

I tried to stay on the west side of the street for the walk from the airport to downtown, and took most pictures either looking south or west; though there are a few that I took looking north.

I have broken the long walk into 7 subpages for faster loading .. they are in sequential order with Part I starting at the airport, and part 7 being the end of the southern part of town and the turning point to head back north.
